Four channels, three ways to use them
You decide how to use the channels. In four-channel mode, the RCore4|100 delivers 100 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms and 140 watts into 2 ohms. For a subwoofer, bridge one channel pair and run the front speakers on the other two channels. Bridged, the amplifier provides 2 x 290 watts RMS into 4 ohms. Download the manual for wiring diagrams.
Connections to suit your head unit
Connect your factory head unit’s speaker signal directly to the high-level input. You need neither an additional line output converter nor a remote wire: the amplifier turns on automatically with the signal. Connect an aftermarket head unit or DSP via RCA and select low level. In this mode, the head unit’s remote wire switches the amplifier on.
Separate filters for each channel pair
For channels 1/2 and channels 3/4, you select high-pass, full-range or low-pass independently. The crossover frequency is adjustable from 45 to 225 Hz with a slope of 12 dB per octave. This lets you reduce the deep bass sent to your door speakers or limit a connected subwoofer to low frequencies.
Protection and everyday control
Protection circuits against overheating and voltage faults, along with a soft start, help protect the amplifier and speakers in everyday use. Status LEDs indicate operation, faults and protection status. For separate level adjustment, connect the optional RTC.2 remote level control to the RTC port.
