All SoundUp BMW sets are based on vehicle-specific components, including DSP amplifiers, speaker systems, cable sets, and mounting accessories. The plug-and-play integration can be reversed at any time and takes into account the respective BMW audio architecture, including standard systems, hi-fi systems (S676), and RAM-based vehicles.

Depending on the vehicle, equipment, and desired sound level, different SoundUp upgrade levels are available, ranging from entry-level solutions to comprehensive, multi-channel systems with maximum sound performance. This allows each SoundUp BMW set to be precisely adapted to technical conditions and individual requirements.

The names of the SoundUp BMW kits follow a clear technical system.
Each part of the name provides specific information about the vehicle type, audio architecture, and system scope.

“BM” stands for “BMW.”
"F" indicates sets for BMW F models.
"RAM" stands for vehicles with RAM-based audio architecture.
"S676" refers to the factory-installed BMW hi-fi system.
"ENTRY" means there is no additional rear speaker control via an amplifier.
"BASIC" identifies sets with the Gladen Generic speaker upgrade in the front.
"EXTREME" indicates the maximum upgrade level.
"C" indicates a DSP upgrade for the center speaker.
