Overview GLADEN ENA 165.2
The GLADEN ENA 165.2 is a speaker set for getting started in car audio, designed to replace your vehicle's factory speakers. It pairs 165 mm midwoofers with separate 20 mm silk-dome tweeters and can run from a head unit or a separate amplifier.
Separate tweeters give you more installation options. Mount them flush in a trim panel or on top of it in a surface-mount housing. The mounting hardware and surface-mount housings are included.
Tweeters where they fit
The door speaker location does not have to determine where the tweeter goes. With the ENA 165.2, you can install the midwoofers in the doors and position the tweeters separately, such as in the A-pillars or on the dashboard. This lets you adjust tweeter orientation toward the listening position.
Three mounting options
Each silk-dome tweeter comes with three mounting options. Mount it flush in a trim panel or use one of the included straight and angled housings for surface mounting. The angled housing allows the tweeter to be aimed toward the listening position.
Less space needed for the crossover
The crossovers are built into the cables to the tweeters. There is no separate enclosure to accommodate behind a door panel or dashboard, making installation easier where space is limited.
Head unit or amplifier
A separate amplifier is not required to operate the ENA 165.2. You can connect the speaker set directly to a head unit or use it in a system with a separate amplifier.

Safety information
- High volume can permanently damage hearing and stop you from hearing warning signals, sirens and spoken announcements.
- Fasten drivers and grilles securely and use all mounting points. When mounting in trim panels, check that the base can carry the load.
- Operate tweeters only with the supplied crossover. Operation without a high-pass filter destroys the tweeter and can cause failure.
- Magnetic field: keep a distance from implanted medical devices such as pacemakers.
- Choose the mounting location so that no displays or controls are covered and no airbag areas are touched.
- Installation only by suitably qualified persons. Before starting work, disconnect the battery as specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
- Do not mount in airbag deployment areas, in the driver's field of view or above the footwell or pedals.
- Do not work on high-voltage systems of hybrid and electric vehicles. Do not touch orange-marked cables.
- Only for dry interiors of road vehicles. Not for marine, trailer, outdoor or wet-area use.
