Overview Mosconi pro 5|30 EVO

Two identical N-channel MOSFETs. One goal: maximum control.

While many Class AB amplifiers use a conventional combination of N-channel and P-channel transistors, the PRO EVO Series takes a more sophisticated approach.

The PRO EVO Series takes a more sophisticated approach.

The output stage exclusively employs two identical N-channel MOSFETs. As a result, both halves of the signal exhibit virtually identical electrical characteristics and follow the music signal with the same speed and precision.

The result is exceptionally linear amplification with outstanding transient accuracy, stable control, and remarkably natural sound reproduction.

Symmetry you can hear.

In a conventional output stage, N-channel and P-channel transistors inherently differ in their electrical characteristics due to their design.

These differences can lead to minimal asymmetries within the audio signal.

For this reason, the PRO EVO Series utilizes a pure N-channel output stage.

Because both transistors are identical in design, they operate with the same switching characteristics, capacitances, and frequency response.

This reduces unwanted distortion and achieves exceptionally balanced and uncolored sound reproduction.

Greater control over the speaker.

The output stage of the PRO EVO amplifiers features an exceptionally low output impedance.

This enables the amplifier to control the movement of the speaker with significantly greater precision and to more effectively manage the back EMF generated by the voice coil.

Especially during bass transients, fast kick drums, or highly dynamic musical passages, reproduction remains controlled, precise, and clean.

The result is tight, highly precise bass reproduction with significantly improved transient accuracy.

Engineered for high output. Built for sustained performance.

By design, N-channel MOSFETs have lower losses than comparable P-channel devices.

Lower power dissipation results in reduced heat generation and higher efficiency within the output stage.

As a result, the PRO EVO amplifiers remain stable and deliver consistent performance even under heavy load and during extended listening sessions.

The available energy is used where it belongs: controlling the speaker.

Sophisticated engineering for maximum linearity.

Using two identical N-channel MOSFETs is significantly more complex than a conventional output stage design.

To ensure both transistors operate within their optimal operating range at all times, the PRO EVO Series employs a microprocessor-controlled drive system with specially developed driver and energy storage circuits.

As a result, the output stages remain stable even during vehicle supply voltage fluctuations and always operate within their intended linear range.

The result is clean signal amplification with high dynamic range and exceptional sonic accuracy.

Precise signal level adjustment without potentiometers.

The input sensitivity can be adjusted independently for each channel using DIP switches.
This enables repeatable, long-term stable settings without mechanical wear components.

Adjustment is made in 0.25-volt increments over a range from 1 to 8.75 volts.

Optimized DirectDSP Input

The integrated DirectDSP input enables direct connection to external DSP systems.

Because no additional signal processing is performed within the amplifier, the audio signal remains unchanged and low-loss.
This is especially relevant for fully DSP-based systems.
