Signal controlled power supply
In contrast to Class G/H, the power supply is only switched on when required (high levels) and regulated depending on the power demand. Benefit: The quiescent current is between 250 mA and 450 mA (depending on the speaker circuitry) -> Especially interesting for electromobility and motorhomes
Transducerless High-Speed PWM Power Amplifiers
High-efficiency PWM amplifiers with the fastest carrier frequency in the world today (> 2 MHz), enables HiRes audio transmission and the extremely small size. The modulation is done without DAC directly from the 96 kHz TDM signal of the DSP, thus the noise floor is close to zero and THD+N ~ 0.02 % / 1 W.
