MORE THAN IMPACT
Some music needs more than impact—it needs scale and a stable foundation. The ZETA ZW 200 uses its larger cone area to move more air with controlled motion. This gives the midbass greater depth, substance, and authority without sacrificing speed or tonal accuracy.
The ZW 200 follows the same acoustic philosophy as the ZW 165, but it is more than a larger version. Its additional cone area gives the entire system greater acoustic scale. Lower-register instruments gain body, dynamic passages gain composure, and the soundstage rests on a broader, more stable foundation.
NOMEX PAPER COMPOUND DIAPHRAGM
The lightweight and rigid Nomex Paper Compound diaphragm combines structural strength with the natural internal damping of paper. It maintains its shape as dynamics increase and follows fast musical transients with controlled movement.
The result is defined midbass with natural tonal character. Authority is created through precise cone motion rather than artificial emphasis.
COMPACT NEODYMIUM MOTOR
The neodymium motor provides the magnetic force required for controlled movement of the driver’s moving assembly. Its compact structure combines high magnetic efficiency with installation-friendly dimensions.
Extended excursion maintains the authority of the ZW 200 during demanding musical passages. A Nomex spider guides the moving assembly and supports defined cone movement.
CAST-ALUMINUM BASKET
The rigid cast-aluminum basket provides the mechanical foundation of the driver. It maintains precise alignment between the motor, suspension, and diaphragm while supporting controlled movement of the large cone area.
THE LOW-FREQUENCY FOUNDATION OF A ZETA SYSTEM
The ZETA ZW 200 was developed as the low-frequency foundation of an active three-way system. Combined with the wideband ZETA ZM 70 or the dedicated ZETA ZM 80 and the ZETA ZT 30, it forms a front stage with a consistent sonic character across the entire operating range.
The ZW 200 extends this shared philosophy downward—with greater foundation, increased acoustic scale, and the control that defines every ZETA driver.
