Overview Gladen G-FIT 200
The GLADEN G-FIT 200 is a low-profile 200-mm midwoofer designed for vehicle installations where a large cone area must be combined with limited mounting space.
With a mounting depth of just 45 mm, the G-FIT 200 is suitable for typical under-seat and dashboard applications, among others. Its aluminum cone, sturdy die-cast aluminum basket, 50-mm voice coil, and compact neodymium driver form the technical foundation for controlled low-frequency and midbass reproduction.
However, what makes the G-FIT 200 special is not just its low profile. The speaker was designed as a shared acoustic platform for different vehicles. Vehicle- and position-specific adapters provide the mechanical connection to the respective original installation position, while the speaker itself remains unchanged. This allows the same acoustic basis to be used for, among other things, BMW underseat positions and Mercedes-Benz dashboard positions.
SUPER-SLIM 200 MM ARCHITECTURE
The G-FIT 200 combines a 200-mm nominal diameter with an installation depth of just 45 mm. The total height of the chassis, including the protective grille, is 56 mm.
This provides an effective cone area of 216 cm², even though the speaker is designed for installation positions with limited depth. Especially for under-seat and dashboard installations, this combination allows for a large radiating area without having to use a conventionally deep-mounted 200-mm driver.
ALUMINUM CONE
The aluminum cone combines low susceptibility to deformation with the mechanical stability required for a shallow-profile low-frequency/midbass speaker.
Its rigid structure supports controlled movement of the diaphragm across the intended operating range of 35 to 1,500 Hz. This allows the G-FIT 200 to handle low frequencies while also integrating cleanly with the midrange. The NBR surround, together with the diaphragm, forms the moving assembly of the driver.
50 MM VOICE COIL & NEODYMIUM DRIVER
The 50-mm voice coil enables robust and controlled drive of the large diaphragm area. The compact neodymium driver provides the necessary magnetic force without unnecessarily increasing the speaker’s shallow depth.
The voice coil is made of copper and is mounted on a glass-fiber carrier. The G-FIT 200 is rated for 100 W RMS and 200 W maximum power handling. Its nominal impedance is 3 Ω.
DIECAST ALUMINUM BASKET
The die-cast aluminum basket forms the mechanical foundation of the G-FIT 200.
Its rigid construction keeps the cone, suspension, voice coil, and magnet system precisely aligned with one another. At the same time, the flat basket geometry allows for the shallow mounting depth required for vehicle-specific under-seat and dashboard installations.

The G-FIT 200 serves as the acoustic foundation in all applications. Adaptation to the vehicle is achieved via specially developed adapters that connect the speaker to the respective original installation location.
The vehicle-specific geometry of the adapter ensures proper positioning of the chassis and a stable mechanical connection to the existing installation location. This allows the G-FIT 200 to be used across different vehicle platforms without having to develop a separate speaker for each application.
