Overview Gladen Aero Fill
GLADEN AERO FILL is a permanently elastic, malleable butyl compound specially formulated for acoustic sealing and decoupling in vehicles.
It is used wherever conventional insulation mats are ineffective or surface bonding is impossible.
Thanks to its malleable, plastic structure, the compound precisely adapts to gaps, joints, and complex geometries.
It remains permanently soft and does not harden. It reliably prevents the transmission of vibrations, airborne sound, and contact noise.
AERO FILL complements the GLADEN AERO-DAMPING system wherever precise sealing, flexible decoupling, and long-term noise control are required.
Properties:
- Permanently elastic, plastic butyl compound
- Very easy to knead and mold
- Remains permanently flexible.
- Water-resistant
- Flame retardant
- Suitable for complex and irregular geometries.
Application:
GLADEN AERO FILL is ideal for areas where sealing and decoupling are necessary. Examples include:
- Gaps and joints in doors and body parts
- Transitions between sheet metal and trim.
- Cable and pipe penetrations.
- Installation and service openings.
- Acoustically critical contact points.
AERO FILL supplements flat insulation materials but does not substitute for vibration or sound insulation mats.
AERO FILL is part of the GLADEN AERO-DAMPING modular concept.
Within the system, it performs local sealing and flexible decoupling tasks wherever mat materials cannot be used due to design constraints.
It completes the insulation concept, ensuring acoustically clean results.
