Overview Mosconi HLA-Dual
The MOSCONI HLA-DUAL is a compact, four-channel, high-low adapter that reliably generates remote signals in vehicles with high-power head units (BTL outputs). It was developed for OEM audio architectures where classic ignition or remote signals are unavailable.
As with the HLA-SLIM, the HLA-DUAL has a plastic housing and pluggable connectors. This keeps the module very small, allowing it to be integrated directly into the wiring harness or in the immediate vicinity of the head unit — ideal for installations with limited space.
The integrated remote output can handle up to 100 mA and enables the automatic switching on of amplifiers or digital signal processing (DSP) systems. Remote generation is based exclusively on the detection of the constant DC voltage present at the BTL outputs of modern, high-power head units.
An applied voltage of at least 3 V DC at one input is a prerequisite for operation. The HLA-DUAL does not evaluate the music signal but rather only the existing DC voltage of the BTL outputs. This ensures stable, interference-free remote generation.
