Overview Mosconi Pro 2|10 AAB EVO

Analog Reference. Engineered for Maximum Sound Precision.

The MOSCONI PRO 2|10 AAB EVO is a 2-channel amplifier designed for demanding car audio systems where sound quality and control take center stage.

At its core is AAB technology, an amplifier concept that fundamentally differs from conventional Class-AB amplifier designs.
Instead of using a common control system for all power transistors, the output stage operates with distributed regulation at the component level.

The result is exceptionally stable and linear signal processing, even under real-world conditions such as temperature changes, load variations, or dynamic music signals.

AAB Technology: Control at the Component Level

In conventional amplifiers, the entire output stage is controlled through a common operating point.
This assumes that all power transistors operate identically, which is never completely the case in practice.

AAB technology follows a different approach:

Each individual power transistor is monitored and regulated separately.
Local control loops ensure that every component remains within its optimal operating range at all times, regardless of:

  • temperature,

  • current flow,

  • load behavior,

  • component tolerances.

This results in significantly more stable and consistent operation of the entire amplifier.

Stability Instead of Compromise.

This distributed architecture reduces typical issues found in conventional amplifiers:

- thermal drift,
- uneven transistor distribution,
- unstable operating points,
- dependence on component tolerances.

Even at high power levels, with complex loudspeaker loads and dynamic music signals, the amplifier remains controlled and predictable.

Separate Signal and Power Paths Form a Clean Foundation for Sound.

The internal architecture consistently separates the sensitive audio signal path from the power supply.

High currents and rapid load changes occur within the power supply.
The signal path, on the other hand, operates with very small voltages and is highly sensitive to interference.

Through clear separation at both the layout and grounding levels, these influences are prevented from reaching the audio signal.

This specifically reduces:

  • interference caused by current spikes,

  • load feedback effects on the power supply,

  • internal coupling within the amplifier.

As a result, the signal remains clean, stable, and uncolored even at high power levels.

As a result, the signal remains clean, stable, and uncolored even at high power levels.

Sound Character: Control and Naturalness

The combination of AAB technology and a clean internal architecture ensures stable reproduction even under real-world operating conditions.

This is particularly evident in the following characteristics:

  • high resolution of detail,

  • stable spatial imaging,

  • clean microdynamics, and

  • controlled behavior at high listening levels.

Even as the load increases, the soundstage remains calm, structured, and easy to follow.

Power and Flexibility

Four powerful channels enable versatile system configurations:

- stereo operation,
- active multi-way systems,
- bridged operation for subwoofers.

The PRO 2|10 AAB EVO combines substantial power reserves with precise loudspeaker control.

Stability Under Real-World Conditions

The entire architecture is designed to operate reliably even outside ideal laboratory conditions.

A powerful power supply ensures a stable energy source, while the internal monitoring system continuously supervises temperature and operating status.

This allows the amplifier to remain reliable and controllable even under sustained high-load conditions.

Precise Signal Adjustment Without Potentiometers.

Input sensitivity can be adjusted independently for each channel via DIP switches.
This enables repeatable and long-lasting settings without mechanical wear components.

Adjustment is performed in 0.25-volt increments within a range of 1 to 8.75 volts.

Optimized DirectDSP Input

The integrated DirectDSP input enables direct connection to external DSP systems.

Because additional signal processing within the amplifier is eliminated, the audio signal remains unchanged and low-loss.
This is particularly relevant for fully DSP-based systems.
